About
Peta-Jo is a seasoned journalist and subeditor who shamelessly embraces the side of her that writes fiction.
Her book, Feral Bells, was released in April under the original title of Wedding Etiquette For Ferals at the Queensland Brides’ Wedding and Honeymoon Expo (you can see the pics and video under “Feral Bells”).
She currently works from home as a subeditor for regional Queensland newspapers whilst simultaneously feeding, entertaining, educating and, above all, loving her two children (and husband, though he requires far less educating).
She conducts regular book reviews on QUT’s MC Reviews website and is in the throes of a regional book tour.
She can be bribed to be a guest speaker or guest blogger for writing groups on journalism, Romance writing and self-publishing and has conducted writing workshops in the past.
She also freelances in feature and copy writing, editing and proofreading. You can read more of her expertise here. If you’d like more information, you can reach her on petajo@mail.com

Ipswich! Hurrah! Have you ever seen the movie, Stardust? A. It is fantastic. B. It mentions Ipswich (“All the way to Ipswich?!”), and I always figured it was a made-up place. How fun to learn it’s not.

No – haven’t seen it, though we did get free tickets to the premiere in Ipswich (which we didn’t get to on account of kids) but nice to hear we got a mention! Though I do believe there’s an Ipswich in the UK somewhere too.

There is indeed, in Suffolk. I stayed there once and have never seen so many prams per square foot anywhere else. The great thing about blogs is that you can read someone’s posts, identify with them as I did with yours, then find out that person lives in Australia! Isn’t the internet a great invention x
